Story
Relaxation, in some ways, is pretty easy. It can often be accomplished with a good glass of wine and a bad TV show. But there is another aspect to relaxation that’s a bit slipperier. Maybe you’d call it release, or surrender, or even a sort of elastic solidity (a great band name, btw). It isn’t about doing nothing, or even doing something fun. It’s about what you hold onto and what you decide to let go of. It’s feeling it all and letting it all move through you. It’s treating life like a waking dream.
What all this dances around is that Jovian’s answer to a “calming” scent is not a classic “calming” scent. Yes, there’s fruity chamomile, but it hovers over rich deposits of deeply sedative vetiver, earthy like clay and luscious like fancy peanut butter. A waterfall of aerated dark chocolate cascades over stacks of cedar and ho wood, illuminated by sun-shafts of optimistic orange.
The result is a scent that is, yes, relaxing, but also intoxicating. It hypnotizes, transports, even seduces. This relaxation isn’t about something you do but a place you can go - beyond expectations and limitations, beyond your past or future. It’s a potion that beckons down the rabbit hole of brazen acceptance. Drink deeply, in waking or in slumber.
